Swimming Australia upgraded ClubLANE on the 23rd August 2017 and moved to a new payment gateway provider (Stripe). This upgrade has occurred to ensure that member card payment information is in alignment with the PCI compliance requirements of the federal government.
Once a member enters their credit card details, they are stored within the payment gateway provider's system (not ClubLANE) for the purpose of completing the transaction and to allow Stripe to meet their regulatory requirements. The data is stored by Stripe, as it is with a bank transaction, and deleted in line with the PCI regulations.
The ClubLANE system uses a unique identifier, or token, to display limited details about your credit card within ClubLANE to assist in fast tracking future transactions. It is important to note that the details displayed on the screen are incomplete, so they cannot be used to make a transaction on their own (i.e. all an administrator can see is: **** 1234 Expires 05/12). There is an additional security measure in place requiring any person making a payment via ClubLANE to confirm they are authorised to do so.
You can manage your card details on MyLANE by clicking on the Card Payment icon under your Profile.
If you do not wish your details to be displayed for future use you can delete them following the instructions at this link:
