If you attempt to add a new account for a member that already has an existing account in ClubLANE (nationally), you will not be able to proceed creating the account.
You will receive the following message to notify you that the account you've tried to create already exists. The member’s current club appears in the Club column.
Scenario 1: The member already belongs to your club
You already have access to the member's account. Click on your ClubLANE Home menu and search for the member in the Person tab to make any desired changes to their account.
Scenario 2: The member belongs to another club
You will receive the following message to notify you that the account you’ve tried to create already exists.
If you still wish to add this member you will need to request a transfer for the account.
Click on the membership number (six-digit number in Member column) aligned with the member you wish to transfer to your club.
The member’s membership number and surname will already populate the respective fields. Click Next to lodge a transfer request with the member’s old club.
Follow the remainder of the steps required to request a member transfer.
If you are certain the member does not already have an account but you are receiving a duplicate message, contact your state staff for assistance.
