There are a couple of situations in which you may need to Lapse a member account in ClubLANE:
1) The member is “Non-Paying” (such as Swimming NSW Life Members) and remains a financial member each year, but the member is no longer involved in swimming
2) A member is suspended from your club as a result of disciplinary action
3) A member passes.
To Lapse a member, log in to ClubLANE and bring up their membership account by typing their name into the Person search tab, then selecting their name with your cursor.
Click on “Lapse” in the member’s Status box in the top-right section of the member’s profile.
Select “Lapsed” from the Reason drop down menu.
The Date should be today (i.e. whatever day it is that you are Lapsing the account).
Complete any other required fields (as in the case of a member passing) and click Save.
You will receive this confirmation screen when the account has been Lapsed.
After you click Return, the member’s Status should look like this:
