What is an avatar?
An avatar is a photo or image that identifies you. It needs to be in jpg (jpeg) form to load on MyLANE. The image needs to appear in portrait form and clearly show your face so you can be recognised from your pass.
How will I know it has worked?
You will know if it has been successful if you can see the image in the profile box once you have clicked save.
If you cannot see your photo then check to make sure that it was a jpg file. If not, you may need to convert your image to jpg or find another picture.
How do I load an avatar to MyLANE?
See here for instructions on How to add your avatar to MyLANE
What if my photo turns sideways when loaded?
Please try to load your photo in portrait style. If it turns on it's side when loaded please try to rotate the picture in a photo editor such as Microsoft Paint or Adobe Photoshop.
How do I login to MyLANE?
Use your ClubLANE username & password to login to MyLANE (the same username & password you would use to enter events).
The MyLANE login link is: https://mylane.swimming.org.au
There is nothing showing in my Accreditation tab?
The Accreditation tab is only for Technical Officials. The Pool Deck Accreditation Pass is not linked at all to the Accreditation tab.
When do I need to do this by?
The avatars for the 2016 Hancock Prospecting Australian Championships need to be uploaded by COB Tuesday 29th April. If not, your pool deck pass will only show your name not your photo.
