How to Manage Your Coaching Public Profile
Coaches can choose to display or conceal their coaching public profile on public listings like Swim Finder. To access your public profile, coaches need a valid Swimming Australia Development, Advanced, or Performance Coach Accreditation. Additionally, for the profile to appear on Swim Finder, coaches must enable their public profile and link it to a club/organisation.
To manage your public profile please follow the steps below.
1) Log in to Swim Central and navigate to your profile and select 'View Profile'
2) Open the accordion 'Public Profile' and you will see details that are available to be displayed in Swim Finder.
3) Click 'Edit Profile' to update or add any of the following details
Coach Name: The name you wish to display in Swim Finder. This can be different to your Swim Central name
Occupation: List your job or profession such as Multi Class & Advanced Coach
Biography (Bio): Brief description of your key achievements and experience as a coach
Public Email: List an email that you can be contacted on
Telephone: List a phone number you can be contacted on
Social Media: Enter the URL for any of the following social media accounts in the corresponding field you may have: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube
4) Click on 'Update' once completed
5) To link to a club/organisation expand the 'Associations' section and select 'Add Association'
6) Search for the club/organisation. For you profile to be listed in Swim Finder you need to grant permission for the club/organisation to access to your information.
7) Click on 'Agree & Associate'
Note you can be associated to multiple club/organisations by repeating steps 6 and 7
8) After associating, the club/organisation must agree and establish a relationship with you.
