Due to Excel performing automatic rounding on swimmer’s times on CSV reports e.g. Nominations, eligibility report, Power Query can be helpful to show the times in the correct format.

1. Ensure the csv report of choice is unzipped and saved on your computer

2. Open up Excel with a new blank spreadsheet. From the menu options at the top of the spreadsheet > click on Data > Get Data from Text/CSV

3. Locate the unzipped csv report and click on Import

4. The Power Query window will load up the report. Under Data Type Detection > Drop down the list and Select “Do Not Detect Data Types” > Then click on Load

5. Excel will open up another tab and display the imported data, with the times reporting in the correct format
