Creating an Event Product for Your Meet
A host club can create a variety of products available to purchase for their meet.

- Event Entry
- Event Merchandise
- Event Program
- Event Spectator Ticket
1) Once you have published your meet in Swim Central, navigate to the 'Extra Information' tab and click on the 'Products' accordion
2) Select 'Add product'
3) Complete the Event Product Details
- Product Name: Enter the name of the product
- Product Type: Select the appropriate product type
- Catering
- Event Entry
- Event Merchandise
- Event Program
- Event Spectator
- Uniform
- Workshops
- Description: a brief description of your product
- Cost Price exGST: This is the cost of your product. If your Club is registered for GST, please take care to enter the cost excluding GST as Swim Central will add GST to the amount.
- Quantity Available: set the quantity available to purchase. Ensure the quantity is enough to cover all who may want to purchase, as once all are sold you need to create a new product, you cannot amend the quantity available after publishing.
- Is Refundable: Tick the checkbox to allow participants to request a refund for the product
- Nomination Requirement: Ticking the box will automatically add the product to a swimmer's cart when they first nominate. Please ensure this is set for 1 product only
4) Once product details are complete select 'next'
5) Confirm the details and click on 'save'
6) To publish the product select 'Release Product'
7) Once published the product will show with the status tag 'Released'
8) To withdraw the product from sale select 'Withdraw'
Event Product Status Definitions
Required: Product required to enter the meet upon first nomination. This product is available to purchase until nominations close.
Unreleased: Product not published to the member view or store
Released: Product published to the store/event page and available for purchase. Unassisgned products are available to purchase up until the last day of the meet.
Withdrawn: Product is withdrawn from sale and removed from the store
Event Product Report: To monitor the sales of your products or tickets, navigate to the Event, Extra Information tab and expand the Products section. From there, you can access the 'Evt Product Report', which will list participant details and the corresponding products or tickets purchased, including the quantity of each item. Once you select the report, it will be sent to your email address.
